Work isn't always all work and no play. One of the benefits of working for a radio station is that I get to meet artists quite often. And because we have 4 different radio formats, I get to meet a variety of different artists. Last week, it was Offspring who came in to perform their new song, "Kristi, are you doing ok?" And yes Offspring, I am doing ok, thanks for asking.
The downside to working at a radio station is, since I don't have time to watch my shows live, I already know what happens when I get the chance to watch them. That doesn't affect Olivia though, as she loves American Idol. I watch American Idol more to have noise in the background while I am cleaning than anything else considering I've already heard the entire recap of the show before I get to watch it. But, Olivia just loves to watch the show. During the commercials she will play on her play mat as usual, but when she hears the music starting at the beginning of the show her eyes become glued on the TV! I think it is the music she likes because I listened to A LOT of music when I was pregnant and I also sang to her a lot. I figured I didn't look as crazy if I was singing to her instead of talking to her. Maybe Olivia has superstar in her future!
Olivia continues to practice her pouty face for daddy. She'll only give Jared this face, I don't know why that is! I guess she already knows who to go to...
Grandma bought her, her first doll Saturday and she loves it! So much for the taggies blanket that I was so proud to make for her that she loved so much.
So I guess she'll have to be a genius, soccer playing ballerina rockstar instead of model!!
