Olivia's class took a field trip to the fair this year. I was happy to be able to take off work to take her. Almost all the kids in the class were able to go and it was a lot of fun seeing the kids together and talking to the other parents, including 4 other moms who are also expecting another child. In Olivia's class, including her, there are 6 kids who are going to be big brothers/sisters all for the first time and soon. This is really exciting for them all to experience this together but it has me a little worried about getting the next one into the daycare when needed considering there are only 8 spots total in the nursery.
Olivia and John.
Olivia and Jacob.
Jack, Olivia and Leah.
Olivia fed the goats, but still isn't thrilled with them slobbering on her hand. I don't blame her!
After her teachers rode the elephant, Olivia very politely asked me if she could ride the elephant. I couldn't say no with the way she asked! But then we got up there and she decided she wanted to ride the camel instead. It was much bumpier than I expected but she loved it!
A couple other classmates rode the elephant as well. (Connor and Parker)
Olivia said she wanted a corn dog for lunch...perfect fair food! I was amazed with how much of it she ate!
I had planned to tried to get pictures of all the kids and maybe even a group picture, but that just didn't happen. Maybe another time!
After lunch, everyone headed back but we stayed behind with Allison and Parker and rode a few rides before heading out. Olivia LOVES rides (just like her mommy!)
The last ride she rode was the race cars and of course she had to be in the Barbie race car. This ride was her favorite because it whips you around the corner which brought on lots of giggles by Olivia!
The sand sculpture.
Before heading out, we stopped to get an order of fried Oreo cookies which were also a big hit. I'm starting to think food on a stick is the way to get Olivia to eat!
She did her best to not get any powdered sugar on her because getting food on her clothes drives her absolutely nuts. But, when the cookies were gone and the wind blew the plate full of powdered sugar all over Olivia, I couldn't help but laugh! I should have gotten a picture, but I decided I better help her clean it off instead before she went nuts!
We were both so worn out when we got home that we napped until daddy got home from work! It was a great day!
