Last couple weeks from my phone

I have been awful about taking pictures lately.  It's not as easy taking pictures when your hands are filled with an infant.  So here are some random pictures from my phone from the last couple weeks to sum up what we've been up to.

We decided to go ahead and get the pool membership for our neighborhood this year so we've already spent a lot of time at the pool and the water hasn't even quite warmed up yet!  Olivia just loves the pool and is never ready to leave.

Abigail has gotten in a couple times, but mostly we keep her in the shade and out of the cold water for now.

 Olivia has the best summer/water hair.  I love the messy curl look it gives her.  

When wet, this sweet little girl's hair curls up a little also.  Looks like she'll carry on with the curly hair and it continues to get blonder.

This is all I wanted to do after my first day back at work...

This big sister is still loving her little sister :)

 Naps on the couch will never get old.  I have no idea why she doesn't nap well on her own...

Olivia is taking a weekly gymnastics class this summer.  After each class she tells me she likes it but she still wants to do jazz after summer is over.  The place she danced at last year doesn't offer jazz at this age so we are currently looking for another place.  We are open to suggestions!!

Gymnastics has been good for her though.  I never would have imagined she would walk across the bars like this.  She is still overly cautious and I can't imagine climbing with those long legs to be easy, but she is doing a great job!

We celebrated my 30th birthday a day early with the girls since Olivia wouldn't be there for my actual birthday.

Then on my actual birthday, a few friends and their kids met us out for dinner at San Jose.

Olivia went on her 1st trip without me.  I was sad to let her go but I knew she'd have fun.  She spent a couple days with her Nana and papa camping (in an air conditioned trailer with working bathrooms and electricity....roughin it...)  and they also took a trip to Tweetsie while there.  I got a few text picture updates...

 This text picture update had the caption "Olivia is giving everyone a show on the porch at mast.  They are thrilled and she was told that she has a natural talent...the next Marilyn Monroe."

I certainly missed our crazy 3 year old and our house was WAY too quiet, but it was nice getting to spend the extra time with Abigail and got the chance to do our favorite thing (napping together) before she went to stay at Grandma's Saturday and we were kid free for the night!

It's been awhile since we've been kid free so we took advantage of it and we spent the day on the lake with friends.

Jared was the photographer so I didn't manage to get a picture of him!  Actually I didn't manage to get hardly any pictures!  I think it's time to get back into picture taking mode again!
