With only a week left before Olivia's first Halloween we began some Halloween fun! First up, a trip to the Pumpkin Patch!
Olivia picked out her own "Olivia sized" pumpkin... 
and enjoyed being pulled around by daddy in the wagon...
while nibbling on some hay. 
Later than night after we all took a long nap, we headed to Boo at the Zoo! Most kids were dressed in costume but since Olivia didn't know the difference I decided to save her costume for Halloween and dress her in something that would be warmer and easier to carry her around in. So, we dressed her in her monkey sweater and then she got a monkey mask that they were handing out at the zoo! But, she decided she was too pretty to hide her face under a mask and took it off.
Olivia was a little young to enjoy all the activities but she did enjoy seeing the animals that they had out and watching all the other kids in their costumes.
She also rode a carousel for the first time and I'm pretty sure she loved it. She would smile and giggle for a little bit and then get a serious look on her face and then smile and giggle again, etc. And she did a great job holding on to the pole!
