Disco Diva!

Saturday was mom's 50th birthday! She was certain her family would plan something special for the big day, but as she checked into it and my high school reunion was indeed that night, she wondered if she really was just babysitting Olivia that night. But we had much bigger plans for her that night. When she came to pick up Olivia, she not only discovered friends and family waiting up the stairs to surprise her, but that somehow the time went backwards and we were in the 1970's!!

Even Olivia had been transported back to the 70's!

Olivia LOVED having a buffet at the house which also meant guests were finding half eaten pickles...oops!

Even mom's best friend flew in to surprise her!

What 70's party would be complete without an act from the Brady Bunch? Don't worry - we had it covered with our performance of "Keep on Movin."

Finally, 6 months later, I am posting the video.  Better watch out for us Brady kids!

While Olivia went around stealing bracelets off people. What can I say, she loves jewelry!

We even learned some new moves, like "The Hustle."

And did dances we already knew, like "The Hand Jive."

Olivia even got up from Papa's lap to join us on the dance floor!

By the end of the night, mom's age was really showing and she needed her cane to make it back home!
