We baked our first pie (an apple pie)! And it was very yummy! Olivia is getting great at measuring and counting the ingredients. And I have no clue what is all over her face in this picture; it must have been yummy though!
We played dress-up with friends. This is one of Olivia's favorite games. Last night as she was trying to stall with going to bed, she kept telling me she wanted to play dress-up! She also told me that she wanted me to make Belle (from Beauty and the Beast) pink.
We had a sleepover. Ok, we really didn't have a sleepover; we tried to have a sleepover. They fooled us by wanting to lay next to each other in the couch so we thought it was going to work. It was a disaster. Jacob ended up getting kicked out of the pack and play and put in the middle of our bed surrounded by pillows so Alyssa could sleep in the pack and play in the extra room. Once the kids were finally all asleep, the parents all got to enjoy the apple pie that was previously made while playing a game of spades. Fun times!
We watched a terrible game of Gamecock football with friends after having a mommy/daughter double date with Meg and Mary-Addison at the Marionette Theater.
We went to the zoo. Olivia still didn't want to ride the carousel, even though after we left she kept asking to ride it. She did want to pose with the lion though. This is a sneaky little girl. For some reason, she decided we were going to the zoo on Sunday. She even told her papa Saturday, that she was going to the zoo tomorrow to see the goats. I have no idea why she thought she was going to the zoo (she had been saying since Friday after daycare that she wanted to see the lions) and I don't know why she told papa she was going to see the goats; she usually says she wants to see the lions, giraffes, ellies (her nickname for the elephants), or waddles (nickname for penguins). But, it turns out she did go to the zoo...I guess she told us!
And Olivia got to join mommy for a dinner date with some of mommy's friends!
