Olivia recently ended a 6-week swimming lessons session. Last year she loved shallow water but preferred to not get into the deep water so I wasn't sure how the lessons were going to go. She loved it! She was so excited to get in the water and she told me she wanted to swim like Ariel.
She did so well and cooperated with everything they had her do, except she wasn't too thrilled about wearing the life jacket for a portion when they had them try those on to get used to them. I'm pretty sure if the life jacket were pink and had princesses on it that she would have been just fine wearing it though.
This class was mainly meant for getting the kids used to the water so Olivia isn't quite swimming like Ariel yet, but the teacher did comment that she thought she was a strong swimmer for her age.
We look forward to getting to practice more swimming this summer! We can't wait for the outdoor pools to open!
