Randomness from my phone...

Olivia is really into pretend play, dressing up and playing with dolls.  One day Olivia asked me to come to her salon so she could fix my hair.  She tried to get me to sit in the vanity chair, but that wasn't working so I sat on the floor in front of the vanity and managed to get some cute pictures from my phone.

She was very thorough.  Combing, "cutting", "blow drying", "straightening" and even sprinkled "glitter" on at the end to make it pretty.

Another cute picture I came across was Olivia dragging daddy from the living room into the kitchen telling him "daddy, do the dishes!"  I simply told Olivia to find her daddy and tell him to do the dishes but she obviously is going to excel in life by her performance here.  I gave it an A++!

Even if we aren't baking something in the kitchen, Olivia is still baking up a storm in her own kitchen!

I was early to pick Olivia up from preschool one day and got there right as snack time was starting!  Have you ever seen so many boys or so many blondes in a class???

I also made it just in time for a birthday celebration they were getting ready to have for one of the boys in the class.  You would think it was Olivia's birthday because of her tiara.  That same day they had Christmas in July for the purpose to teach about giving and this tiara was part of what Olivia got.  Of course she had to put it on right away and keep it on all day.

It is always nice when I am able to show up early to watch Olivia interact with the other kids and to get a chance to talk to the teachers for awhile.  They always talk about how she is such a girly girl.  They say every time I paint her finger nails and toe nails she excitedly shows them the next day and says "look what my mommy did!  They're so pretty!"  That made me smile.

Grandma came to visit Sunday so we took a trip to the zoo where Olivia got to ride the pony at the zoo for the first time, although it wasn't her first pony ride.  She really liked riding the pony!
