I can't believe Olivia is already 8 months old...it feels like it was only a week ago that I was posting her 7 month pictures. She has such an amazing personality and is just the happiest baby. I find her laughing for absolutely no reason throughout the day and can't help but to laugh with her. She is still a very easy going baby and hardly fusses, but lately she has gotten a little fussy when I go to leave the room and wants to come with me (I can't help but love that, although I try not to encourage it) but all it takes it just a little love from her mommy and she is happy again. She has also started to say ma-ma more regularly which is also one of my favorites :)
Olivia still isn't crawling, but has figured out how to pull herself around. She seems to have great upper body strength, but not as much lower body strength as she doesn't seem very interested in standing or getting in the crawling position. When I'm not cuddling her, I try to give her a lot of floor time to build her strength which is probably why she has such good upper body strength, but I think she could probably use a little more jumperoo time to get her used to the standing position so we'll see how that goes. Either way, she is getting around just fine on her own!

Olivia is now in her big girl car seat! The infant carrier was convenient for the first few months, but after awhile it became heavy and inconvenient. She actually loves her new car seat.
And Olivia's newest trick is clapping...well Olivia's version of clapping. She claps the palm of her hand to the top of her other hand and she is so proud of herself for it!This isn't the greatest video of her clapping but it is so hard to get videos of her because she becomes distracted by the camera now, but you can see Olivia's version of clapping.
