Sewing Projects!

A while back, I got this crazy idea that I was going to make Olivia a dress and so I bought a pattern. Awhile after that, I finally got the fabric and then awhile after that, the dress was finally made!

We spent the weekend in North August visiting Grandma and Aunt Andrea and Saturday night was spent sewing.

Andrea made Olivia a hat.

And Mom (MIL) and me made Olivia a dress. Somehow I only managed to bring the first half of the directions so the majority of the time was spent undoing what we had already done because it was wrong. While I may not have done much of the sewing (ok, I didn't do any of the sewing - put I did cut the fabric) I think watching how the dress was sewn and what not to do was very helpful so I am ready to begin sewing a dress on my own...now if only I can find the time to do it!

I still need to get the USC ribbon to decorate the dress, but here is the almost finished dress.
