It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We've been quite busy lately with unpacking and painting but have managed to take a few breaks to enjoy some Christmas fun!
A few weekends ago, we brought home our tree!

Olivia helped decorate the tree by running away with the lights, which she just found to be hilarious!

And she helped me put the ornaments on the tree.

Jared and I left Olivia at home Friday night with her Aunt Andi and Grandma Fox while we enjoyed a night out for my work Christmas party.
Then we threw our annual Christmas party at home the next night. I am not so sure throwing a Christmas party weeks after moving into a new house is such a bright idea, but we made it work!

We were very happy that both the Brook's Family...
And the Hutto's came from Charelston to celebrate Christmas with us.

We were excited to celebrate with all the guests that were there as well.

The younger kids had fun playing with each other...

While the older kids went and played upstairs.

We played an ornament exchange game.

Cade was not happy at all when he unwrapped a high heel shoe.

Meg continued to entice people to steal her Santa so she could steal the USC ornament that I had unwrapped; and in the end, she succeeded.

Pam ended up with an interesting hippo dressed in a bikini.
Towards the end of the night, it seemed some of us had a little too much fun.

And a couple of the girls stayed and we ended the night with a sleepover! What a nice break this weekend was from all of the painting and unpacking!
