On the first day of Christmas (Christmas Eve) we celebrated with my parents. We started the night off with the children's service at our church and then headed to my parent's house for dinner and presents!

Olivia was very excited to see all the gifts under the tree!

She attempted to unwrap some of her presents, but then would get distracted by the presents she already opened and couldn't care less about opening anymore so I had to help her out some. She loved
almost everything that she got!

Everything except her pony! My parent's got her a similar pony to keep at their house and after pressing the ear on the pony for it to make the horse noises, Olivia became afraid of the pony. We had hoped since this pony was pink, Olivia might like it...but she was still afraid!

Finally, a few days later, Olivia played on her pony! Then her Aunt Andrea pushed the forbidden ear which once again frightened Olivia. When I say frightened, I mean Olivia would shake at the sight of the pony! But, again the next day I got her on the pony with only a little hesitation and showed her how fun it is and she likes it again....for now.
On the second day of Christmas (Christmas Day), Santa came!
He filled our stockings...

And left a lot of presents under the tree for Olivia!

The first thing Olivia noticed was her play hut which kept her entertained until everyone showed up to watch Olivia open her presents. My parents, Aunt Connie, Grandma Fox, Aunt Andi, Uncle Ed and Aunt Linda all came over for a Christmas breakfast of creme brule French toast that luckily was a big hit. I had planned on testing the recipe before hand, but time just didn't allow for it so I am glad everyone enjoyed it and I am excited to make it again next year.

Olivia was a little more active with opening Christmas presents, but again, I opened most for her as her attention span is pretty much non-existent.

Olivia seemed to approve of everything she got, which included her play hut, balls for the play hut, a wagon, a flip and fold sofa, a cookie monster, a puzzle alphabet mat, a ball popper, a music table toy, a see and say, telephone, bath toys, stocking stuffers and much more!

Olivia's First Christmas!

After a long nap from an exhausted Olivia, we headed to North Augusta and had a Christmas dinner with Grandma Fox, Aunt Andi, Uncle Ed and Aunt Linda. And of course, Olivia got even more toys!

She enjoyed using the rings as bracelets. She is turning into such a girly girl.

Wouldn't you know, she enjoyed putting the bows on her head! Now, why can't I get her to keep a single bow, headband or hat on her head?

On the third day of Christmas (day after Christmas), we celebrated again at Grandma Fox's house with Olivia's Aunt Kim, Uncle Eric and cousins Courtney and Megan.

Olivia discovered that she can climb stairs while we were there for the weekend and spent a lot of the time climbing up the step and turning around and sitting on it. She was so proud of herself for this.

She is also getting pretty good at walking with help and enjoys walking with you holding her hands.

On the fourth day of Christmas (New Years Day), we celebrated with Grandpa Fox and Darlene who came to visit from Virginia. They could only stay for lunch as they were driving through on their way to North Augusta. We enjoyed a nice lunch, but unfortunately they were there during Olivia's nap time and didn't get to spend any time with her after lunch. It seemed the Fisher Price baby stroller was a big hit this year as all 3 sets of Grandparent's bought this for Olivia this year!! Grandma Fox was able to return hers and get something else before Christmas since we discovered this ahead of time, but we weren't aware that Grandpa Fox had gotten her one as well, along with my parent's!
We had a great Christmas and I am sad for the Holiday's to end. I have enjoyed having this last week and a half off with Olivia and I can tell she has enjoyed staying home with her family all day as well. She has gotten so much more affectionate towards me and will now give me hugs and kisses and I am going to be so sad to go back to work on Monday and not be able to get hugs and kisses from my little girl all day long. I wish Christmas could last forever!
