Valentine's Weekend

On Friday, Olivia had a Valentine's Day party at her daycare so I dressed her in her Valentine's outfit with cute pigtails!

We made goody bags to give to all of her teachers and the administrative staff and sent Valentine cards with Gerber fruit sticks to all the kids in Olivia's class.

She came home with a bag full of valentines and all kind of treats so she got to try her first lollipop! She did good with it until she bit it and it all fell to pieces. Luckily the dogs had it cleaned up in a hurry!

Later that afternoon, we got a surprise!!!

When we woke up the next morning, our house looked like this!

Our street.

Grandma and Grandpa came over to play in the snow with us.

Olivia wasn't too thrilled with the snow and didn't care for it being on her shoes.

She especially didn't like making a snow angel.

So we made a snowman instead.

Sunday (Valentine's Day) was a nice lazy day hanging around the house.

I made a special breakfast of heart blueberry pancakes, whip cream filled strawberries and sausage that Olivia got to enjoy on one of her new plate sets that she got for Valentine's Day.

She also got a Valentine's Elmo that says "Elmo Loves You" when you press his belly since Elmo is Olivia's new favorite word...for right now at least. She points to Elmo in her book and says "Elmo" and she cuddles her stuffed Elmo and gives him kisses! When you bring her stuffed Elmo to her and ask who it is, she gets a big smile on her face and says "Elmo!"

Instead of going out for a nice dinner, we made our own at home with king crab legs and lobster tails. Olivia immediately went for the green beans on her plate over the lobster!

But she did enjoy the lobster once she tried it and it was gone in a matter of seconds! She must have filled up on lobster and green beans because when I went to give her crab, she shook her head and said "no, no" which is what she does when she is done eating. "No" or "No No", is also another one of her new, favorite words.

It is hard to believe how much Olivia has grown since last Valentine's day when she was only a month old!
