Olivia and I had a fun bake day with Heather and her kids. The first thing we made were sugar cookies so the kids could be occupied while we baked other goodies. We baked them on lollipop sticks to make them more fun!
Olivia decorated 2 cookies...
And then was more interested in playing with all of Keeleigh's dolls instead.
Keeleigh got the same package of Disney princess dolls for Christmas that Olivia got. It looks like Olivia has had hers a lot longer!
One recipe we came across was brownie covered Oreos. We had to try these! All you do is dip the Oreo into brownie batter, place them into a greased muffin tin and then bake them. We added Valentine's sprinkles to make them festive. However, you bake them much less than you would normal brownies, but we didn't learn this until the end and they turned out more as weapons to throw at someone than edible brownies. We will be trying this recipe again!
I got this cupcake maker for Christmas so I decided to use it to make mini sized pies. We did cherry pies for Valentine's Day. They took 7 minutes to bake and were super cute and super easy! The cupcake maker came with a tool to cut out pie crusts so you just lay the bottom pie crust down first.
Add in your filling, cover with another pie crust, close the machine and wait 7 minutes!
They turned out super cute! I'm excited to explore other things I can make with this thing!
In the end, we had tons of goodies which made great gifts to wrap up and send to teachers on Valentine's Day!

We may have been a little sugared up by the end...
