Mountain Weekend 2011!

Remember last years mountain trip?  We continued the tradition again this year with the Cowherd's and Lazinek's and this year the Sasine's also joined us!  We had such a great long weekend together.

The kids were flying.  Of course Olivia kept saying she was flying just like Tinkerbell.

 Olivia is always happy to pick flowers.  This girl loves flowers.

We headed into Boone and the kids had fun playing on the playground before walking to some stores.

We stopped for ice cream.

Had picnics out on the deck.

And took blue baths!!

Then Sunday turned out to be a very busy, but very fun day!  We started off with a picnic at Price Park.

The kids had a blast playing in the creek.

And had fun throwing rocks into the water.

  

The guys grilled.

 

And took the kids walking in the creek.

 

We made a mess eating watermelon.

  

And enjoyed spending time together.

 

After the park, the Cowherd's and us decided to go for a canoe ride and had a blast!

 

Then we headed to Cone Manor and took a nice little hike.

 

Towards the end of the hike, the kids got to meet Fancy Pants and even got to go for a little ride!!  Olivia says this was her favorite part of the trip!

 

We even made shirts for everyone to remember our fun trip to the mountains!
