Olivia was SOOO excited this year to go to the beach! She normally is not a morning person but this particular morning we were leaving for the beach she woke up completely ecstatic! I love how she remembers things from last year and gets excited about them!
I'm pretty sure she could have stayed on the beach all day!
She kept asking her daddy to take her further and further into the water!
Abigail did a lot of napping on the beach...
While Olivia built a lot of sand castles.
She even turned her and Nana into Mermaids.
And built even more castles!
Abigail got her first dip in the ocean.
And didn't hate it!
But I think she preferred floating around the lazy river.
Olivia went down this slide all by herself. She wanted to go down it again but didn't want to because it was too dark. She kept wanting to know why they had to make the slide so dark!
We managed to get a couple family photos.
Abigail was happy to get all the sand cleaned off of her.
Olivia was having so much fun, she didn't want to waste time napping so instead that's what dinner time was for.
We tried to get her to nap while everyone was getting showers, but she preferred quality time with her GiGi...
Or making princess hats because we certainly couldn't go a long weekend without some sort of dress-up involved!
And this sweet girl was always happy!
Olivia loves Broadway at the Beach for 2 reasons. The 1st being the rides...
Since she is 36 inches tall, I wasn't aloud to go on the carousel with her unless I bought a ticket (which I thought was crazy). Can't believe she's big enough to ride it without me!
Don't worry Abigail, next year you will be able to ride the rides also!
The other reason she loves Broadway so much is because of the store Sparkles. They not only have the most girlie stuff, but they have a stage.
And we showed up just in time for the kids to perform...
But now, I am sure Olivia has a 3rd reason she also loves Broadway. She loved feeding the fish with her daddy!
While we were packing up, Olivia needed one last walk on the beach before heading home. Can't wait for next year's trip!
