6 Months Old - Abigail

 It's hard to believe we're already half way to Abigail being a year old!

At 6 months old you are off the chart for height at 28 inches and weigh 17 pounds, 9 ounces (80%)!

You are such a fun baby full of so much personality.

You giggle and smile at almost anything.

You really love attention and to be the spot light.

You babble a lot and even said your first word on August 22nd which I'm happy to say was "mama".

You don't usually say mama unless you are crying though, but when you cry, there are always mamas in between your cries.  Somehow you have already figured out crying is more effective when you add in those mamas.  I'm in big trouble!

You still constantly show signs of teething, but no teeth yet.

You love playing with toys on the floor and roll over a lot.  You can sit unassisted for about 3 seconds before you fall over.

 You are just starting to get into rice cereal.  We started when you were 4 months but haven't given it to you much since then since every time we did, you didn't seem interested until now.

You seem to have an internal clock which you did not get from either your daddy or me, not sure where this came from but you have learned what time we wake you up during the week and are naturally up about 5 minutes before that now waiting on us.  You don't quite understand the concept of weekends and how we use those days to sleep in.  You will however go right back to sleep and sleep until around 8:30-9 if we get you and put you in the bed with us so this is exactly what we do.

 Even if you are an early riser and leave me covered in spit up on several occasions, you are still perfect in every way and you couldn't have a family who loves you more.  Happy half birthday baby girl!
