We actually had a free Saturday morning to make it back skating. I've been wanting to go again since I was very pregnant when we first took Olivia and couldn't skate.
It was really slippery on the skates and I wasn't sure Olivia was going to last long.
But then we were told about trainer skates they had that she could use.
And those worked MUCH better!
I'm not sure when we'll have another free Saturday morning to make it back, but it was a lot of fun! I even managed to get a video of Olivia doing the hockey pokey. Midway through my memory card filled up so I had to quickly delete some old photos before being able to finish recording so that is why the middle is missing.
The reason we are always busy on Saturday mornings is because Olivia is doing soccer this fall. Jared is actually her coach so it has made for nice daddy/daughter bonding time.
However, soccer isn't necessarily going quite as planned and for the first game, Olivia spent about 5 minutes on the field and then spent the rest of the time on the sidelines coloring and didn't want to go back out.
Since the first game, she has done better with playing in the games, but still doesn't get very enthusiastic about it and spends most of the time standing around on the field.
She just isn't very aggressive and isn't interested in getting bumped, pushed or kicked so she stays clear of all that.
But none of that stops Abigail from cheering on her big sister!
Although the games aren't her favorite, she loves soccer practice!
They each get to use their own ball during practice so she doesn't have to fight over it!
