Well, I managed to make it through my first week of work and Olivia through her first week of daycare. I knew putting Olivia in daycare was going to be hard, but I definitely was not prepared for how hard it actually was. The first day was miserable. She was all I could think about and thinking about her only made it worse! Luckily, my work pretty much just let me be that day. Dropping her off has gotten a little easier; although I don’t think it’ll ever be easy.
Olivia’s teachers at daycare absolutely love her (how could anyone not?) They can’t believe how good of a baby she is. They say the only time she fusses is when she is pooping and when she is hungry. Yes, for some reason, pooping makes Olivia fuss. She’s fine once she is done pooping and can sit in the dirty diaper with no problems afterwards, she just doesn’t like to actually poop.
