4th of July BBQs!

We had a busy weekend with friends and BBQs! We headed to the Thurber's house on Saturday where Olivia found her twin!

She also loved sitting outside with everyone in her own chair. Daddy was actually sitting in this chair but Olivia wanted to sit in this chair so she pointed to the other chair and said "daddy's chair" and made him move so she could have this chair. Somebody already thinks she rules the house...

On Sunday, we headed to the McGee's for their annual 4th of July celebration! It is hard to believe how much all the girls have grown since last year.

It didn't take Olivia long to find the necklaces...

...and then later started posing with a fireman's hat she found.

After watching all of the other girls ride the horse, Olivia wanted to ride it herself!! Now if only they would all come over and play with her horse.

During a recent trip to Michael's, I came across a container of glow bracelets, 15 for $1. This was by far the BEST $1 I've spent! The girl's loved the glowing bracelets! Olivia, of course, not only had to have one for each wrist, but one for each ankle as well.

The best part about the bracelets was that all children were easily located in the dark while we shot off fireworks!

Wouldn't you know that out of all the girls, Olivia was the only one not afraid of the fireworks! Sure she's the only one afraid of stuffed horses and carousels, but when it comes to explosives, she's all for it! She enjoyed watching the fireworks and kept walking up to me to give me big hugs, pat my head and lay her head down on my shoulder. Life doesn't get much better than that.
