Last night, Olivia, Nana, Gigi and I went to see Annie. Olivia has been to see several shows, but this was her first theater performance. She loved it! It is amazing how the TV can't hold Olivia's attention for more than 5 minutes, but a live performance can entertain her for hours. The show went way past her bed time, but she refused to miss a second of the show and sat for the entire 2 1/2 hours with her eyes glued to the stage without making a sound or hardly a movement. To say she was mesmerized would be an understatement.
Something that Olivia has been doing for awhile now is copying everything she sees. It is cute for now, but I sure hope she grows out of it before she gets older. If someone else does it, she HAS to do it to. So, after watching Annie last night, apparently Olivia felt the need to put on her own performance tonight. I was able to capture some on video, but unfortunately didn't get her best itsy, bitsy performance on video.
