We were very excited for the fair this year after Olivia loved riding a lot of the rides a couple months ago at Dollywood. Unfortunately, Olivia was too short to ride just about everything. The only ride options for her were the carousel and the Ferris wheel. Since we've had so many failed carousel attempts in the past, we decided to skip that altogether and when asked, Olivia insisted she did not want to ride the Ferris wheel. So, we entertained ourselves with everything else the fair has to offer; like, visiting the animals.
And feeding the donkey.
Since there are no healthy options for food at the fair, it really doesn't matter what you eat for lunch...like ice cream (which was probably one of the more healthy options!)
Olivia's favorite attraction was the ducky game.
She won a pink star and carried it around with her the rest of the day.
I was hoping she would be tall enough to sit on my lap down the big slide, but she was just a couple inches too short. Hopefully she will grow a couple more inches before next year!
She really enjoyed the sand sculpture and looking at all of the flowers around it.
By the end of the trip, we realized we hadn't gotten any pictures of the kids together so we attempted. But it was after 3:00 and none of the kids had naps which meant they were a little too tired to be taking pictures! Even though Olivia didn't ride anything, I think she still had a great time with friends and family and I look forward to next year when she'll be at least 36" which seemed to be the magic height for riding most kid rides!
