Our church had their annual Fall Festival last night, which included trunk-or-treat. Olivia had a great time "trunk-or-treating" and it didn't take her long at all to get the hang of it, she had her basket filled in no time!
This event is for both the church and the daycare so Olivia got to see a lot of her friends from class all dressed up in costumes as well.
John (from Olivia's class) and Olivia actually held hands for a little bit while they were trunk-or-treating. It was cute to hear Olivia call John, Jonnnnnnnnny instead of by his real name...how quickly they get nicknames for each other!
Once Olivia learned what she was collecting, she was quite excited and kept handing me items asking me to open them for her!
Inside there were games to play and food to eat! Such fun!
Now that Olivia has practiced, I'm sure she'll be a pro for trick-or-treating on Halloween!! If you haven't seen enough pictures of Olivia dressed as Tinkerbell, don't worry, there will be more, maybe next time she'll actually wear the wings. Now that I know how much she loves the candy, that could be a good bribing tool...you know...if I were the kind of parent that bribed their kid to do things...
