Christmas Eve

 We spent Christmas Eve with my parents, just as we did last year.  Olivia had been staring at all of her presents under the tree for awhile now so she was ready to rip into them right when we got there!  She had already had enough practice opening the barbie dolls so she didn't need any help at all.

She was very funny, every time she unwrapped a piece of clothing, she quickly set it aside and was ready for the next gift.  But if she opened accessories; slippers, gloves, jewelry, etc. she wanted to put those on right away.  Every time she opened a toy, she immediately wanted us to take the tags off of it for her.

She was excited to open an Ariel doll and a pink tea pot that she had asked Piggy for. 

 She also opened up a case of Disney princess dolls which included Jasmine, Bell, Tiana, Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel and Rapunzel.  I'm pretty sure this was her favorite present as Bell has not yet left her side.

After presents, lunch and some games, we headed to the children's service at church in which Olivia insisted on wearing her new pink slippers (the ones above that look like feet).  She was very excited to see her friend Caitlin from daycare sitting only 2 rows ahead of us and insisted on getting her attention so she could say hi to her.  After several attempts, she finally got out of the pew so she could personally say hi to her since the service hadn't started yet.  It is so cute to see her making friends.

We headed home afterwards to put cookies and milk out for Santa and Olivia insisted that Santa have chocolate milk instead of regular milk.  We said our goodbyes to Piggy as he would be heading back to the North Pole until next year and tucked Olivia into bed after reading Twas the Night Before Christmas.
