Christmas!

We woke up Christmas morning and Santa had come!  The milk and cookies were gone, the stockings were stuffed and the tree overflowed with presents!

I was surprised at first that Olivia wasn't more excited than she was when she first came downstairs.  She looked at the presents and we explained that Santa had come and left these presents.  Then I asked her if she knew whose presents these were and she said "Mary-Addison's."  After opening both barbie dolls, Olivia tried to open another present under the tree and I explained to her that she couldn't open that because it was for Mary-Addison so I guess she assumed all these presents were for her.  After I explained that Santa had left these presents for her, I saw the excitement I was expecting!  She immediately went for the microphone and started singing!

Once everyone got there (Nana, Papa, Grandma and Andi) Olivia got started!

Santa brought Olivia all sorts of things, including a baby doll that she had asked Piggy for.  She also got another Ariel, this one for the bath tub.  Sadly, Santa was not able to bring her Mr. Bibbles and brought her a pink zhu zhu pet instead that she was afraid of.  She has since warmed up to it, but it definitely isn't the Mr. Bibbles she wanted.

There seemed to be a lot of Minnie items, but since Olivia is absolutely in love with Minnie, she didn't mind at all and loved them all.

After the Santa presents were opened, she got to open some gifts from mommy and daddy which included a set of Disney princess shoes which she is in love with as well.

After all her presents were opened, breakfast was ready.  I made the same Crème Brulefrench toast that I made last year and an egg casserole.  Both were able to be prepped the night before and put in the oven together to bake while presents were being opened.  This breakfast will definitely be our Christmas morning tradition.

Then Olivia got to play with her gifts while mommy and daddy got to see what Santa left for them!  Santa was very nice to us as well, leaving daddy 2 unfinished corn hole boards that we get to paint together and the bags to go with them.  The bags came in garnet and black, so we're thinking we're supposed to make the corn hole boards garnet and black as well :)

I love Olivia's static hair from her bounce toy!

After trying to find a spot to put everything, we headed over to Grandma's for Christmas dinner and....more gifts!  By now, Olivia was a pro and was opening presents one handed, while eating a cookie in the other hand!

She was very happy to unwrap a tricycle!!

She also loved her new Minnie table, Minnie doll and play dough that she got.  She had Minnie sit with her as she made shapes with the play dough using the Elmo shape maker.  She also got a pair of penguin boots that she loved.  She had to immediately take off the brown boots she was wearing to put those on.  The girl LOVES shoes.

We had a wonderful Christmas and are so grateful to have so much family to spend the holidays with.  Thanks to everyone for everything!
