Girl's Day Out!

We skipped tailgating for the Vanderbilt game and instead had a fun girl's day out while daddy got to tailgate and go to the game with friends.

We started off the day at our church's fall festival where Olivia had fun seeing friends from school, but she seemed most interested in the fire truck.

After lunch with Nana and Papa and some shopping, it was time to meet up with Alyssa and her mom to see the Lion King!  Olivia has been so excited to see this movie as she loves lions.  However, she really gets into movies and the characters now and when Simba's daddy died, she was really upset and started crying.  She eventually calmed down and enjoyed the rest of the movie and said her favorite part was Simba singing "I just can't wait to be a king."

We did a little shopping after wards and both girls picked out a lollipop and got a balloon from The Peanut Man.

Then it was time to head to the Coggin's house to watch the game.  Olivia and Mary Addison put on their matching cheerleader outfits and got nice and comfortable to watch some cartoons while the mommy's watched the game :)
