I took Friday off work before Abigail was expected to arrive the Monday after for a day of pampering Olivia and spending as much mommy/daughter time with her while she was still my baby.
Our first thing on the agenda was to get manicures and pedicures together. This was Olivia's first time and she sure did love it!
She thought it was funny that her feet were getting a bubble bath!
Afterward we went to Olivia's favorite restaurant for lunch, Red Robin, where papa and daddy were able to meet us on their lunch breaks. Then we headed shoe shopping to get Olivia some shoes for spring/summer and also because she was outgrowing the shoes she already had. It isn't easy to find shoes that fit because she has such narrow feet and practically no heel so she has to try all her shoes on. She is also as picky about her shoes as she is her clothes so she enjoys going shoe shopping and picking out her own shoes. She also picked out a cute, pink little lamb stuffed animal that is also a rattle to give to Abigail. Then that evening we joined some friends at our neighborhood's annual St. Patrick's Day Festival.
Olivia and Alyssa were cute holding hands until they started running and tripped and fell resulting in Olivia face planting.
The next morning Olivia's poor face looked like this...
which luckily healed very quickly.
And since I haven't shared any baby bump pictures, here is the final one before Abigail arrived.
And a couple pictures of the nursery that is finished for the most part.
