Olivia woke up, so excited for her Minnie party! We've been talking about it ever since she insisted that she have a pink Minnie party for her 2nd birthday!
She spent the morning at Nana and Papa's so daddy and I could get everything set up and ready for the party!

The boys got Mickey ears and beach buckets for collecting the piñata goodies...
And the girls got Minnie ears with these cute purses my mom made!
Several of Olivia's friends were able to make it and they had fun coloring and eating.
Next, the kids took turns pulling the piñata strings until all the goodies fell out. Olivia was up first!
She was most interested in collecting the candy bracelets; although she didn't know they were candy and insisted on wearing all 4 of the ones she got.
Afterwards, it was time for presents! Olivia didn't even wait for me to finish getting all the presents before she ripped into them. She was quite excited!
She insisted on wearing her new scarf.
After all the presents were open, she had one last present from mommy and daddy to uncover!
Sadly, it seemed Olivia wasn't quite as into her party as she normally would have been so we thought her Minnie cake that she was really excited about (she picked it out herself) would help cheer her up.
But she wanted nothing to do with her cake which had to mean something was wrong. Surely enough, the poor party girl was growing a fever and wanted nothing more to do with her party but wanted to go upstairs and take a nap.
The rest of the kids stayed and enjoyed cake and some play time before heading out.
Olivia did wake up about an hour later from her nap and was ready to play with her new castle.
But, you could tell she still didn't feel very well at all.
Although, most everyone had left, the Grandparent's and the Sasine's stayed around for dinner in hopes of cheering Olivia up.
We hated that Olivia didn't feel well and didn't get to enjoy her Minnie party like she should have, but she still had a great time considering and we are so glad for everyone who was able to make it. Olivia is already making plans for my Tinkerbell party and daddy's Mickey Mouse party!

WOW, Kristi, you def know how to throw a party!! Man, those chocolate marshmallows look YUMMMY.
