My first Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day was absolutely fantastic; I couldn't have planned it better myself...but that is probably because I dropped many hints beforehand. Jared made me bacon, eggs, toast and coffee and served me breakfast in bed while he fed Olivia breakfast in bed next to me. He also gave me my gift which was a sapphire and diamond ring to match the rest of my sapphire jewelry. He had Olivia's name engraved on the inside. Later that afternoon, we went shopping and then had a late lunch/early dinner of sushi.

That evening I brought Olivia to my parent's house to give my mom her Mother's Day Gift and also to let the Grandparent's spend some time with their granddaughter. My parent's also gave me my first Mother's Day gift from them which was a gift card for a massage at Wisteria. I am looking forward to my next free weekend that I will be able to use it.

Olivia hadn't napped much that day so around 8:00 when it was about her bedtime she blew up. Luckily the drive home is only about 5 minutes but Olivia was just as cranky as can be the entire ride home. Once we walked in the house she quickly became happy because she knew that is where her bed is...I guess there's just no place like home when you are ready to sleep. She was so tired that she only ate about 2 ounces of her last bottle before she was dead asleep.

During the week, I did a photo shoot of Olivia because I needed a picture for the frames that I got the Grandmother's for Mother's Day. Here are just a few...

And the winning picture is...
