2012 In Review

 And another year has gone by.  As always, the beginning of the year starts off with Olivia turning another year older.  This year for her 3rd birthday we had it at the gymnastics place and she invited all her friends from school.

And we had a family date to the circus!

  

We got closer to the arrival of Abigail with a shower.

February was a more laid back month as we continued to get ready for Abigail.  But we still had fun with birthday parties, a show and a field trip to EdVenture.

Another highlight of the month was taking Olivia skating for the first time.  

 

 

March was definitely the highlight of the year which started with Olivia preparing to be a big sister and then a special mommy/daughter date before...

Abigail was born!!

 

 

 On March 19, 2012 Olivia became a big sister...

 

 I become a mommy of 2 beautiful girls...

And we become a family of 4!

 

In April, Abigail celebrated her first Easter by doing a lot of cuddling!

Olivia had fun finding all the eggs and eating all the candy!

 

Abigail also enjoyed her first tailgating experience at the Spring Game.

 

In May Olivia had her 1st dance recital.  She loved dancing on the big stage!

I enjoyed my last month of maternity leave with afternoon trips to the park, ice cream treats, pool and sprinkler fun outside and of course many, many naps like this...

 

 Olivia had her first sleepover.

 

And Abigail began showing a lot of personality!

 Olivia started gymnastics in June for the summer session of June and July.

And spent a long weekend camping with her Nana and Papa.

  We spend a lot of time at the pool, Abigail went swimming for the first time and Olivia was just about swimming before the summer ended.

In July, Abigail was baptized.

And had her first experience with salt water when we took a family trip to the beach.

 We took our annual trip with friends to the mountains and as in all the previous years, this year added even more kids!

 August was a bit of a surprise when I suddenly ended up in urgent care and learned I needed my gallbladder taken out.

 Although I must admit that I enjoyed the extra 2 weeks off of work that I got to spend with the girls!

Olivia started soccer in September and Jared coached.

 

 

She also started dance again.  This year jazz and ballet!

 

Abigail turned 6 months old!

 And we took one last trip to the beach with friends before summer ended (love that we can still go to the beach in September!)

In October we went to the fair!

Found our way through a corn maze, picked out pumpkins, decorated them, dressed in the cutest Halloween costumes and loaded up on festivals and candy!

 November must have been consumed with football due to my lack of picture taking and posting.  But Abigail did get messy at her first Thanksgiving dinner.

And we got in the Christmas spirit early by attending PJs with Santa.

 

 

December was filled with Christmas parties, Christmas plays, crafts and open house day at dance.

And of course Christmas came!
